School Kids Helping Scientists Save the Snow Leopard
High in the Nepalese Himalaya, teenage students are monitoring wildlife in their community. Dr. Som Ale, Regional Director with the Snow Leopard Conservancy, has been leading an effort to alleviate conflict between local people and snow leopards in Nepal’s northern regions. Som and his team are being aided by junior high and high school kids in order to monitor the snow leopard in its remote habitat.
