What type of community charity would respect the old traditional culture as well as address the community needs of today's Himalaya? Also, bearing in mind the deep
wheel of Asia's Himalayan Sentiment, the answer was simple: The Mother Everest.

Mother is a highly revered word in Nepal and throughout the Asian Himalayan world. In fact, it is in the whole of Asian sentiment that Mother reigns paramount or supreme. Motherly care, motherly love and mother guardianship is essence of day to day life in Himalaya Asia.

To Tibetans, ChomoLangma means Mount Everest, which translates literally Mother Goddess, a symbol of respect, love, warmth and intimacy. Everest stands tall as the protector and guardian of the Tibetan welfare and in fact welfare of the whole world.

To Himalaya-Asians, Mother Trust stands out above all International Financial IOUs, so is the Mother Care above all Parliamentary Powers. Be it the House of Congress or the Senate Majority, Mothership surpasses All & Everything in Asia.


Mother Everest is a charitable society set up by a community of local people of Nepal. It aims to support the international charity Helping Hands to sponsor and develop various development projects in the Himalaya with the assistance of international donors; who support the idea of Helping People with respect to Local Community's Proud Culture and the Institution they have built / developed through years & decades.

SUPPORT THROUGH COMMUNITY TOURISM
“Development through tourism” is one of the principal ideas that Mother Everest has adopted. Being the brainchild of tourism experts we look at using this very important tool to change the lives of the people so that they benefit directly from tourism. Our emphasis is on tourism that makes the local management capacity stronger, local participation direct and at the same time ensures cultural integrity, more economic freedom and environmental awareness among the concerned people. Mother Everest aims are to raise funds to rebuild the social and physical infrastructure, as well as generate awareness about the environment, local resources and make sustainable use of natural assets for the benefit of the local people.

Over the course of the next several months, we will be filling this page with the various community project and associated tourism opportunities. One World Trekking will be offering a program of unique tours aimed at bringing awareness, local independence and much needed funds to the respected areas. We will be contributing a portion of all trip proceeds to The Mother Everest Community Charity for appropriate distribution. We will also offer you the opportunity to make an additional donation above your trip cost.
