Epic Himalayan Journeys

Our Epic Himalayan Journey Series represents an outlandish program of unique, off-the-beaten-path trekking adventures. These treks were created to cure the 'been there done that' syndrome and provide the experienced and the first-time Himalayan trekker with an epic mountain trekking and cultural experience.

Classic Himalayan Treks

Our Himalayan Classic Trek Series represents the tried and true walking journeys of the world's greatest mountain range. Our goal is to provide you a quality trek at a competitive price on dates that work for your schedule.

Annapurna Treks

Barely 25 miles north of Pokhara sits the most beautiful mountain range in Nepal - the Annapurnas. The Annapurna Range is one of the most popular trekking destinations in the world, it is easily accessible from Pokhara and offers tremendous potential for scenic walks and for alpine exploration in a splendid high Himalayan setting.

Mount Everest Treks

The Everest region is understandably the world's most popular and spectacular hiking destination. Sacred stones, chortens, mani walls and prayer flags will mark our route as we look down into the gorge of the Dudh Kosi and gaze up at the seemingly outstretched arms of Ama Dablam.

Worldwide Hiking Tours

Our new program of Worldwide Hiking Adventures is designed to take us across the globe in search of the world’s best hiking and cultural vacations. We have developed a series of unique, professionally guided and fully-supported hiking trips to the world's great mountain areas. Lace up your boots!

pdf-icon-sm View / download a detailed trip itinerary

Mount Manaslu in Nepal is one of the world's 8000 meter peaks. This unique and little-traveled itinerary links the circuit around Manaslu with a traverse of the northern Annapurna Range while crossing the Thorong La Pass at 17,765 feet. We will pass through remote Buddhist hamlets as we work our way up to the foot of Manaslu's North Face. After time for exploration, we cross the Larkya La pass (16,847feet), join the traditional Annapurna Circuit Trail and then detour north into the upper Manang District to the ancient Tibetan villages of Nar and Phu. Entering this region is as if we stepped back in time. First occupied in the 10th Century, the stone citadels of Nar and Phu have changed little since and this area is said to have the highest concentration of Snow Leopard per square kilometer in Nepal. To the west lies the 'Great Barrier', rising high above Tilicho Lake. To the north of Manang Village, we follow the pilgrim route over the Thorong La Pass to the holy town of Muktinath and down to the airstrip village of Jomsom.

The Manaslu and the Lost Valleys Trek (Camping Trip) is part of our Epic Himalayan Journey Series! These trips are led by one of our experienced trekking guides and represent the gourmet trekking offerings of the great Himalayan Range.
